STUDENT/ PARENT INFORMATION
I. EOCT Information
This week we are completing the End of Course Test for the following courses: Algebra I, Geometry, Physical Science, Biology, U. S. History, English 9, and American Literature.
It is extremely important that students get to school on time each day and that they have had a good night's rest and have eaten breakfast.
The scores on these tests count 15% of the final grade in the course.
II. Course Assignments
It is urgent that students contact teachers about any assignments that need to be completed. We are almost to the end of the semester and time is running out.
III. ID Cards
It is mandatory that students wear ID cards at all times for safety reasons. Students who refuse to do so will face disciplinary action. All students have been given an ID card policy and have been told of the safety issues and consequences for refusing to wear ID badges. We must wear our badges to be distinguised from the other students in the building.
PARENT INFORMATION
I. Progress Reports
Teachers email or send hard copy progress reports each Friday. If you are not getting a progress report on Friday, please let me know via email or phone call.
II. Charter School Information
Early College Academy of Columbus is seeking a charter school grant. By becoming a charter school, we can have additional funding to support some very important projects, such as, after school and/ or evening tutorials, summer projects for students, additional training for staff, and other necessary projects. Please check this site and our school website for additional information.
