Announcements:
1. All forms must be returned as soon as possible.
2. I will be able to answer any and all questions through e-mail or calling the school. I will be available after school until 5:00 Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I require 24 hour notice from time of request for after school assistance.
3. Please observe the dress code policy of Muscogee County. Failure to do so will result in CLIMB deductions and further action will be applied by administration.

September 2
Math 1 Support
•    Standard:
MM1A1. Students will explore and interpret the characteristics of functions, using graphs, tables, and simple algebraic techniques.
d. Investigate and explain the characteristics of a function: domain, range,
zeros, intercepts, intervals of increase and decrease, maximum and minimum
values, and end behavior.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Students will find the slope, y-intercept, and write equations in slope intercept form.
Algebra 2
•    Standard: #7: Identifies, defines, and graphs relations, and states their domain and range.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Review of chapter 1, Students will understand the concept of a function and create tables and graphs of those functions.
•    Homework: pg 71: 19 – 47 odd (Show work)
September 3
Math 1 Support
•    Standard:
MM1A1. Students will explore and interpret the characteristics of functions, using graphs, tables, and simple algebraic techniques.
a. Represent functions using function notation.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Do Now Quiz, Students will explore the concept of functions and function notation through SIMMS Activity.
•    Homework: Assessment Questions
Algebra 2
•    Standard: #6b: Writes equations for lines using various combinations of required information (such as slope, intercepts, points on the line.)
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Chapter 1 Quiz, Students will learn the slope of the line, find the slope using graphs and the formula, and use the slope to determine whether lines are parallel or perpendicular.
•    Homework: pg 79: 17-31 odd, 45-47
September 4
Math 1 Support
•    Standard:
MM1A1. Students will explore and interpret the characteristics of functions, using graphs, tables, and simple algebraic techniques.
b. Graph the basic functions f(x) = xn, where n = 1 to 3, f(x) = x, f(x) = |x|,
and f(x) = x1.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Students will explore the concept of functions and function notation through SIMMS Activity.
•    Homework: Warm Up Questions
Algebra 2
•    Standard: #6a: Graphs and identifies ordered pairs of numbers and linear equations in the coordinate plane.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: DN Quiz, Students will graph linear equations in both slope intercept form and standard form.
•    Homework: pg 86: 17 – 57 odd (Show work)

•    Standard:
MM1P1. Students will solve problems (using appropriate technology).
a.    Build new mathematical knowledge through problem solving.
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Students will work on strengthening their mathematical fundamental skills.
Algebra 2
•    Standard: #6b: Writes equations for lines using various combinations of required information (such as slope, intercepts, points on the line.)
•    Do Now: Basics
•    Agenda: Students will work on strengthening their mathematical fundamental skills. They will also write equations given important information which will allow them to write the equation.
