"Who dares to teach must never cease to learn" ---
John Cotton Dana
Please check schoolnotes daily along with the regular education teacher's page. I will note assignment modifications on my schoolnotes web page.
Most of my students are required to keep a homework sheet which I will provide starting the second week of school. Parents please sign each night.
Organization is key and I want to make sure each of my students start off on the right foot this year. Please help your child organize their notebooks at home on a weekly basis. Please note our color coding system:
Language Arts- Yellow
Math- Green
Science- Orange
Social Studies- Blue
Please look for assignments in these colors and make sure they are in the correct section. I also recommend one large binder for all classes divided into course sections. One binder is much easier to keep up with as opposed to 4 different notebooks!
Please see Mrs. Grimsley's schoolnotes page and Mrs. Lee's for current standards we are working on in the classroom for both ELA, Science and Social Studies.
I look forward to working with each student this year!

TUTORING SESSIONS
Tutoring sessions have begun. The sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday is for math tutoring and Thursday is for language arts. Even though these are the designated subject areas for those days, we will work on any subject matter that the student may bring to the session. Tutoring is over at 4:15 pm.
