We will finish up presenting our slideshows at the beginning of the week. Students did a nice job on these projects.
We will continue through our keyboarding program. I will give a keyboarding completion grade right before midterm. To make a 100, students must make it to Lesson 10.
We will also begin using Microsoft Word to format various kinds of documents: flyers, tables, personal business letters, and MLA-style reports.
SEVENTH GRADE
We finished our PowerPoint projects, and everyone did a great job!
Students are continuing through their keyboarding program also.
We are working in Microsoft Excel for the next couple of weeks. Students will work with nine different spreadsheets to learn the basics of Excel.
EIGHTH GRADE
Students are continuing in their unit in Microsoft Word. We will format tables this week and will start on some "desktop publishing" activities.
