Week of Feb 8-10:
Monday and Tuesday will be spent reviewing for the Chapter 7 test on Wednesday. Student were given a study guide on Monday which contains all the test questions. Questions will be selected from the study guide and will be reworded slightly, but all concepts, key places, people and vocabulary to be included on the test are on the study guide.

Have a great long weekend!

Week of Feb 1-5:

Note to parents:

Dear Parents,

With progress reports out this week, I wanted to clarify the homework policy for my class. I will be keeping Mr. Hill's policy that was sent home in the class syllabus at the beginning of the year.

Any work not completed on the due date is considered late. These late assignments may be turned in for 60% credit up to three days from the due date. (Ex. An assignment due on Monday will be accepted until Wednesday, but not after) After the three days, the grade becomes a zero in the grade book. I go around and check homework every day, and at that time, students have an opportunity to show me late work for credit. In order to receive credit for an assignment, it must be completed. If it is incomplete, the student has the option of turning it in that day for 50%, or completing it and turning it in late for 60%. Assignments that are both late and incomplete will be graded individually.

I hope this helps to clarify any questions the progress reports may have raised. You can email any questions to me at Mr. Hill's email and I will respond as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Ms. Arthurs
