Good morning parents and students. This is your school notes update for the week. If you have not sent an e-mail address to receive your child's weekly progress please do so. you may e-mail me at jbaker@mcsdga.net or you may send it by your child.

Math and Study Skills students will continue to work on basic skills. We will visit the computer lab Monday and Tuesday for the entire period to work on the AAAmath website.

Wednesday-Friday, Math students will work on basic math skills with one and two digit multiplication and counting money. Students will learn the correct use of the decimal in counting money and hands on counting using manipulatives.

Wednesday-Friday, Study Skills will continue to work on basic reading skills and test taking tips. Please encourage your child to read at home.

Monday-Friday, Language Arts students will continue to read the dolch words and sentences. Students will learn the types of pronouns. Thursday, Students will identify the verbs in a sentence.

Social Studies
Students will complete Chapter two and review the types of landforms.

Science Studnets will investigate the scientific view of how the Earth's surface is formed.
a. compare and contrast Earth's crust
b. Investigate the composition of rocks.

All incomplete classwork automatically becomes homework.
