We will be reading a story from our Literature. The title of our story is "One Child's Labor of Love."
Homework. Complete all unfinished questions from the passage.
will review the kinds of sentences: Simple sentences, compound sentences and complex sentences and identify the kinds of sentences using a worksheet from the unit.

Please re-read the story with your child at home and ask relevant questions.
Math. 6th grade students are working on basic skills. Please check your child's book bag for unfinished classwork which needs to be completed as homework.7th grade students will continue to work from the seventh grade book learning to round, add, and subtract decimals.
Social Studies.
We are completing our unit on Central America. Please review the worksheets completed by your student in class.

We are beginning the last nine week period of the year.
March 17:
Students will learn to choose the correct verb tense in a sentence.
Homework: Using Tense Correctly, complete the last ten sentences for homework.
March 18:
Students will read short stories and answer comprehension questions independently.
