Parents,
We will take a trip to Papa John's and the Planetarium on May 05, 2011. The purpose of this trip is to work on motor skills by making pizza and some of the student's IEP objectives at the Planetarium. This will be our 3rd Community Based Instruction trip. We are in the process of setting up our 4th and last trip. We hope to go to Hollywood Connections to view a movie while working on IEP goals and objectives.
Regular education students will be assisting students in the classroom on March 15, 2011 (junior marshalls)to make St. Patrick's Day activities and on April 1, 2011 (peer helpers) to make Easter ativities.
Students have completed their GAA's and are spending one block each day in an exploratory class. We will do thie until the end of school.
The supply list for this year includes:
wet wipes
air freshner
paper towels
gloves (large latex)
batteries (AA, AAA, and C)
snacks for children (soft items)
