My name is Mr. Sanders. I teach  high school science with Mrs. Garner, Ms. Burnette this year. I also coach football and track so if you are interested in your child participating in these extra curricular activities please feel free to email me.

Wednesday:
1. Discuss and practice scientific notation (work problems on the board and in notebooks)
2. Discuss interpreting graphs and data tables
3. Make a bar graph and data table from worksheet in class
4. Finish classwork

Thursday:
1. Review scientific methods, lab safety rules, metric system, & lab tools
2. Measurement lab- Determining the mass of an object by using an electric and triple -beam scale.
3. Chapter one vocabulary activities
4. Study for chapter one quiz:

****Parents- If you have any items to donate for labs we would appreciate them ex.(straws, string, yarn, foil, sandwich bags, detergent, plastic ware, vinegar, salt, baking soda...etc) Thank you for your help. We want to be able to do as many hands on activities as we can.
