MON.    Work on POS(Parts of Speech) Book. Define Parts of speech, copy charts from LA book.Due 11-3,2008. Rubrics will go home Tuesdady with requirements.    
HOMEWORK: none, except begin work on POS Book.
TUE.    Library time, don’t forget your card. Complete Diagnostic Preview. Review
Complete page 5 Ex. in class for grade. Complete Ex 3 page 7 orally. Cover complete subject, simple subject, complete predicate, verb.    
HOMEWORK: Write sentences. Place a / between the complete subject and the predicate.
WED.    Check for completion of homework. Page 10 – 11; 13 – 18.  Kinds of sentences page 18 – 20
HOMEWORK:Page 17 & 18 from LA workbook for grade
THU.     Grade homework. Chapter Review page 21-22 for a grade.     
HOMEWORKWork on project
FRI.    Page 25-30 in LA book.    

World History
October 6-10, 2008

MONDAY: Read orally pages 297 – 301 in class.
HOMEWORK: Complete Section 3 Review

TUESDAY: Check homework for completion. Discuss homework and grade for correctness. Orally read page. 303 – 307. Complete “Define or Identify” on page 307.
HOMEWORK: Page 297, Vocabulary and People, Vocabulary and People page 302

WEDNESDAY: Compare and contrast Romans / Greeks.
Foldable.
HOMEWORK: Crossword on section 3.

THURSDAY: Quiz on sections 1,2,3,&4 vocabularies. Begin video; Roman Empire in the First Century.

FRIDAY: View The Roman Empire in the First Century.
