Students will use Essentials for Design--Macromedia Flash to complete assignments with the instructor to learn how to use the different features of Flash. After covering each Project (Unit), students will work individually to complete the assignments at the end of each unit.
During the first three weeks, students will complete the following: (Individual assignments will be listed in the assignment folder.)
Project 1, Exploring Flash
Project 2, Drawing and Coloring Object
Project 3, Modifying and Aligning Objects
Project 4, Using Layers
Project 5, Working with Symbols
Project 6, Introduction to ActionScript
Project 7, Animation
Students will also complete assignments from teacher handouts and other textbooks as time permits.
Computer Applications
April 14-April 18, 2008
Students will complete Excel tests each day to indicate what they have learned from the Excel unit. These tests will be based on the same type of problems that the students have completed. They will be able to use any handouts given to them and they may also look at the problems they have completed from the textbook.
Students will be evaluated on using correct formatting and correct formulas.
On Wednesday students will use Keytrain to review basic skills.
