This week we will learn about the life of King David.
PhonicsThis week we will be learning about the digraphs ei and ew. Our assessment will not be until next week. This week we will be doing some review.
For our reading unit we have started Story Structure. Our pattern statement is: When faced with a problem or goal, there may be multiple attempts that fail before solving the problem or reaching the goal. We will be using the visual tool of a story structure table.
We will continue to have decodable readers every few days. The children will continue to bring them home to read aloud.
Math This week we will learn to count dimes, nickels and pennies. We will also identify fractional parts of a whole, graph tags on a bar graph and learn to measure and draw a line segment to the nearest centimeter.The written assesment will be on Monday.
Handwriting
They need to practice, practice and take their time.
Science
We will continue our study of teeth
