The mission of the PTA is threefold:
-to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
-to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise, protect and prepare their children;
-to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this state.
We still need you, and encourage you to remain as involved as possible. Whenever the school needs parental involvement, PTSA takes on the role of contacting parent volunteers. In making this contact with the parents PTSA allows teachers and administrators to focus on the educational goals of our children. If you are in a position to help in anyway please contact Carol Sumpter our Volunteer Coordinator.
Sincerely,
Michelle Myers Goodman

Enhance Arts Education with PTA Reflections
Beauty is children sharing their unique perspectives, creativity, and talents through the arts. Beauty is 40 years of inspiring, heartwarming, thought-provoking, delightful pieces of artwork. “Beauty is…” is the theme for the 2009–2010 PTA Reflections Program year, the program’s 40th anniversary. Every year, PTA Reflections invites students in preschool through high school to submit original pieces in dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts.
