February 2008
I am no longer teaching Spanish One, Mrs. Emily Gibson is the teacher. I have enjoyed teaching your student Spanish One! I hope they will continue studying a foreign language.
December 10, 2007
We are almost done with the first half of Spanish One!
When we return on January 3, 2008 we will continue with lesson 3A. Your student has been provided with a current progress report before the break. They were allowed to make up any work or test that they had missed. Extra credit opportunities were given in class. Some students took advantage of this and brought up their grade. We will have a test the last week of school in December.
Feliz Navidad!

GRADES
Grades are earned through a straight point value. Each assignment is assigned a point value. At the end of a given grading period all points are added up and divided by the total point value.
MAKE-UP WORK
I will NOT allow make up work without an EXCUSED ABSENCE. If you do not have an excused absence, you will be given half credit.
ABSENCES
It is very hard to learn a foreign language if you are not in school. Limit absences to emergencies only. Get all information when you get back. Table of contents will be in the front of the classroom at the podium.
DON’T FORGET… HAVE FUN!!!!!! Learning a new language is always fun and exciting.
Do not hesitate to call or email me if you have any concerns.
