Math: We will begin a new unit, The Shape of the
Data, this week. In this unit students will
learn how to collect, gather & record data in
various ways. Students will also be taking
their winter Math assessments this week to
analyze their growth since August. This
information will be very important as we ramp
up for FCAT after Christmas break.
Social Studies: We are working on Chapter 2,
The First Floridians. Students will work
on a project in class that will help them
understand aspects of the cultural, social,
and political features of Native American
tribes in the history of Florida.

Thursday: Math DA#1
