I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend! Be sure the children have been practicing their inventive spelling. On nights that I have not assigned any creative writing, feel free to have your child do their own creative writing, or even have them start their own journal!
I have added a new website. It is for Michael Lee's Karate dojo. It is his after school program that is here, at school on Wednesday afternoons.
The children should be at a point where they are "reading" fluently any books that are phonetically based, such as word family books.
We will be doing assessments near the end of April and beginning of May.
Don't forget to send in items for the Humane society. Children who voluntarily donate an item will be given a non-uniform day on April 29th.
