**No doubt you have already received an email from the school that Spirit Day is cancelled for Thursday, May 21st due to the weather. Even if the rain stops, the fields will be soggy. Therefore, Thursday will be a regular uniform day for us. Unfortunately, the only available day for the school to reschedule falls on May 29th, so Pre-K will be unable to attend this year. I apologize for any inconvenience, but we sure needed the rain. Bishop Galeone's call to pray for rain worked and we thank God for it.**
The Mother's Day program was a success! The children performed well and had a good time and hopefully, the moms did as well!
We are rapidly wrapping up our year together. We will begin final assessments this week. Final report cards will go home the last day of school.
Please do not forget that Thursday, May 21st is Spirit Day. It is a non-uniform day for all students. Pre-K should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes-no sandals, flip-flops, or crocs. Please apply sunscreen prior to sending your child to school that day. Dismissal is at regular time, and there will be Lunch Bunch for those who stay beyond 11:10pm.
Friday, May 22nd is a planning day and Monday, May 25th is a Memorial Day holiday.
Please return your child's permission slip for the End of the Year picnic at the park at the end of O'Regan Drive (church's driveway) as soon as possible.
