Supply list for Mr. Legge's 2D Art class for the 2008-2009 school year:
1. PENCILS: any pencils including wood, mechanical, or art pencils.
2. SKETCH BOOK: 11" x 14". The least expensive will be fine, get acid free if you want to keep any art work for a long time.
3. RULER: Nonflexible is preferable, we will be measuring and drawing straight lines.
4. CRAYONS: A box with at least 12 - 16 colors.
5. WATER COLOR PAINT: At least 8 colors.
6. COLORED PENCILS: At least 12 colors.
7. ERASER: Kneaded or white vinyl.
8. An empty egg carton, for storing tempera paint.
9. A shoe box or comparable container to store supplies.
10. IMAGINATION AND THE WILLINGNESS TO HAVE FUN AND WORK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
I understand there may be some difficulty getting all these items and it not necessary to buy the most expensive art supplies. Pencils and the sketch book are the most important.
