Remmeber school shirts and shorts are still on sale for all students. All P.E.attire should conform to school dress code requirements . As the weather gets colder the students will be allowed to wear sweatsuits or warm-up clothes, these can be any color. See Ms. Sanders if you have any concerns.
P.E. locks will be sold the 1st week of school for $3.00, if a student has lost his/her lock they can rent another for $4.50, uniforms will also sold for appox. $20.00.
2nd 9 weeks plans
HEALTH CLASSES - Coach Nevin's classes will be studing conflict solving & personal care.drugs,self esteem & nutrition, conflict resolution & abstinence.
P.E. CLASSES - speedball, gatorball, bocci ball, soccer,volleyball, flag football, basketball & fitness test
Starting the 1st 9 weeks we will be introducing a new TARDY POLICY. After the tardy bell rings the student will have 8 minutes to dress-out and get to their roll call position. If the student is NOT in their role call spot they will recieve a tardy for that day. We hope this policy will encourage students to dress out in a more timely fashion, increase instructional time and reduce theft and confrontions in the locker room. If you have any concerns feel free to call 247-5929 with any questions. Regular tardy policy will still be in effect for the start of class.
Each time a student does not dress out she/he loses points off their dress out & participation grade.Dress-out & participation is 80% of their grade when they are in P.E.
