This new school year started with lots of positive changes. We have a new Reading book. That's always exciting! We start school earlier and that gives us a longer school day which means more learning time. I'm excited and looking forward to a successful year.
We are reviewing letter/letter sounds in Reading. We are talking about word parts, listening for rhyming words, practicing the names of the days of the week and practicing our handwriting. We are also learning a different way to sing the alphabet song. We are going to make our own ABC book. We have already made a class ABC book.
