November 15 2008
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Progress Reports will be sent home on Monday the 17th. Please reveiw it with your child, sign it, and return it to me.
Starting this week we will not have a reading story. We will work on comprehension skills, fluency and word building. As always FCAT Reading and Math Skills will be taught. We will also have a special research project on animal habitats this week.
The students should have brought home a letter and field trip form about the Pensacola Children's Chorus and a letter concerning the play. Please sign both and return as soon as possible.
Friday, November 21st is Hat Day. Students can pay a dollar to wear a hat all day. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Thank you so much for your donations to the Honor Flight Project. We raised over $1200.00 which will be used to send a veteran to Washington, D.C. to see the memorial. Thank you for your patriotism and support to those who have served.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach me at home or leave a message at school.
Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Holley
