Teacher Contact Information:
You can reach me if you call the school at 955-6718, but you will need to leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as I can, which is usually within 24 hours. Please allow me more time to get back to you during "high traffic" times (progress reports, reports cards, important due dates, etc.) You can also email me through schoolnotes or directly through my email account: duplerrj@sbac.edu. PLEASE make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you need to see me, even if you are just stopping by my room. Please also check into the front office when visiting me or any other classroom or teacher and get the proper identification. Thank you.
PARENTS: Important notes:
1. I will leave the previous week's agenda posted at the bottom of this page.
2. Daily agendas are provided to your child at the beginning of each grading period; please make a copy if necessary. These plans are subject to change. Confirmed/revised agendas will be posted daily in the classroom; your child is required to copy it. Please call the school to request handouts and books to complete assignments when absent.
3. All out-of-class assignments are listed separately on the board in the classroom.
4. It is the student's/parent's responsibility to request make-up work from an excused absence. "I didn't get that handout" or "I didn't know about that assignment" are not acceptable excuses. An absence is NOT a valid excuse to have an assignment waived.
5. Reading Journals are due on Fridays or on the last day of the week that school is in session.
6. Check links at the bottom of this page for resources: book selection, AR list, Sunshine State book list, and other links to useful sites.
7. Visit the link to the Media Center from the Westwood Site. It has wonderful resources, including help for research, AR lists, and help for selecting books.
