A.  Read Chapters 1 to 4 in Stearns, P.  "World Civilizations, The Global Experience".
OPTIONAL -  complete the online questions as you complete them to test yourself. Go to AP SUMMER READING link at the top of this page.
Do Multiple Choice, True/False and Short Answer.
You may want to print off the tests.  There will be tests and further work on these chapters when school starts again.

8. Describe the ‘most persistent political features’ in India during this period.
9. Compare and contrast the political structures of  India and China and analyze the reasons for the similarities and
differences, including geographical factors, Hinduism and Confucianism.  Draw  a comparison chart.
