Here you will find information regarding your child's academic progress,activities in which our team participates, homework assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.

Week of 3/30 -4/3

Monday - A Call for Freedom. Read and discussion of section. Video - "Glory"  

Tuesday - Continue video.

Wednesday - Life During the Civil War. Read and discussion of section. Complete section.

Thursday - The Way to Victory. Read and discussion of section. Complete worksheets.

Friday - Current Events.  Complete worksheets. Children's Story Book due 5/4. This is worth 2 grades.

Students will become budding Authors by creating a Childrens' Storybook on the Civil War. Children enjoy colorful books so please use your imagination and creativity to make these books appealing. These books must contain the following terms, personalities, and battles.

Terms - Border States, blockade, Yankee, Rebels, ironclad, casualties, Emancipation Proclamation, 54th Massachusetts Regiment, draft, habeas corpus, total war, Gettysberg Address,and Appomatox Courthouse. (13 terms)

Personalities - Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, Robert Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, William Tecumseh Sherman, and Stonewll Jackson. (6 Personalities)

Battles
Fort Sumter, Bull Run, Shiloh, Gettysberg, and Antietam (5 Battles)



Reminders - ePEP and Choice Exlorer Forms are due. These forms must be signed by a parent. Website found on Facts.org

All students are required to complete the Career Modules or they will NOT matriculate to High School.
