9/4 - Students will copy definition of "Self-Control" and choose 3 quotes. They will also be asked to relate the character trait to two individuals, real or fictional. Next, students will read the short story "Charles" p.S20 (9:23 minutes) via audio cd. Classroom discussion about story. Watch video version of "Charles" if time permits.
