HAVE A FABULOUS SUMMER!!

How to study for a test...
1.  Divide sections among 2 or 3 nights.  You cannot do it all in 1 night, nor should you want to.
2.  Read the section and class notes.
3.  Try 2-3 odd problems from the practice problems for EACH skill.  Check your answers.  Pick the hard ones, challenge yourself.  Work backwards if your answers don't match.
4.  Once you have gone through all of the sections, take a practice test either in the book or online.
5.  Ask yourself, "Do I feel prepared?" "Have I done enough to get an A?", if not, keep practicing.  Remember practice makes perfect.
Happy Studying!!

Compass Information
Everyone has been set up with a compass account.  Please begin to work on your assignments.  A yellow circle appears around "Math" for Pre-Algebra and "Algebra" for Algebra.  Your user name and password is your school ID number.  If there is a section that you need practice on, go to compass and select that skill.  You do not need to complete them in order.  When preparing for a test, use compass as a resource.  Remember, I can track what, when, and how long you work on your assignments, as well as the grades.  Ask me if you have any questions.
