We are off to a great start and have high expectations for a fantastic school year.
What is inclusion?
Inclusion means educating students with and without disabilities together. But inclusion involves more than placing students with disabilities in the same room with same-age peers without disabilities. Real inclusion means students with disabilities have access to the general education curriculum, classrooms, and other typical school settings and activities. The students receive specially designed instruction and supports to meet IEP goals and succeed as learners.
Glades Middle practices successful inclusion using a variety of service delivery models.
