Happy New (School) Year!!!
To all of my returning students, I am glad you are with me again this year. To all of the new students that will grace my classroom, I welcome you all.
This year will be one of the most challenging ones for your child. Some of the students will be entering middle school for the very first time, while others will find themselves between a rock and a hard place as they endeavor to find their niche in seventh grade. I am geared up and ready for the ride!
This year, I will be teaching two grade levels and three academic levels, so I will be facing my own unique challenge, but I am willing and able to face this task with the support of the students and parents alike.
In year's past, I have tried to make myself as available to parents and students as possible to meet the academic needs of my students. I plan on continuing that successful trend.
The best way for parents to contact me is via email. I will return your calls or emails within a timely manner regarding your child. Again, please contact me with questions and/or concerns. I am a parent as well and I realize that you love your child and want to know what's going on with him/her. This site will be updated weekly with homework assignments/projects/due dates(interims/report cards, etc.), so check weekly or have the system send you reminders.
During this week, your child will be bringing home a Personal Data Sheet, along with other papers that require your signature and/or input. please review this informaation before your child returns it to school.
Again, I welcome all of you to my class this year. Let's make it a great one!!!
