Highlights of Chapter 3 & 4
Take-home test:
• Complete the multiple choice questions on the bubble sheet you were given
• Complete the supply/demand exercises by drawing in the new curve and circling the arrow or dash to indicate the change (if any) in the criteria due to the changes posed in the question.
• On your own paper, complete the following written response questions from p. 72 in the text - - 7 (with all sub-parts), 10, & 11
I suggest you complete your work on the test by Tuesday 2/9 so you can begin work on next week's chapters. 2nd period students should consider bringing their test papers to hand in on Tuesday morning (you will have to be here for attendance anyway before going off to your FCAT location).
When you return to class next Thursday, Feb. 11 (2/9 is FCAT day & Senior Breakfast) we will:
• Collect the test papers as soon as you arrive in class
• Collect your proposed teams for the Stock Market Game simulation activity
• Begin discussing Chapter 5 (so be sure you read ahead)

Highlights of Chapter 3
Next time we will move on to Chapter 4. Since we will not get to meet next Tuesday due to FCAT, we will have some sort of test Friday - but the form has not been determined yet.

NOTES:
• Because next week is our Tuesday/Thursday week and we will not meet Tuesday due to FCAT Writes/Senior Breakfast, we will likely need to take the next test during the second half of the block on Friday (though I will see if I can find a way to make this a take-home test).
• Due to the shortage of time before the AP tests, we will cover both Chapters 3 & 4 this week, and the following week will pair Chapters 5 & 6.
• We will start our 10-week Stock Market Game project in about two weeks. You should be thinking about who you want on your team . . . teams will consist of five (5) persons, and you will need to work together and communicate outside of class.
• If you haven't already, you should start watching the Nightly Business Report (weekday evenings at 7 pm on Channel 2).
