Welcome to my Kindergarten class.I want to thanks all the parents in advance for your support in this school year.You will be able to e-mail me with any questions or concern about your child and their progress in school.PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAVE ALL SUPPLIES THEY NEED FOR SCHOOL.
Thank you for your support in the first two weeks, it is very important that we work together.Please make sure the student is in the court at 8:15, at that time I will pick them up. They need to be in line (k4) and ready to go to class. I really appreciate if you don't try to contact me at that time, we have a routine that we are learning and this will affect this process. If you have any question or concern I will be more than glad to give you a conference,just send me a note or call me,and I will contact you as soon as possible.Thank you very much in advance.
Please practice with the students at home letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J.We studied them in class, they need to practice sounds,names, and writing of the letters. You can do games like: Look around the house for objects or things with those beginning sounds.
Next week we will study letters K, L, M, N.
Students need to learn the color words that went home last week, please practice at home together with the writing of the student's names. Thank you.
Math: We are sorting objects by colors, sizes,and shapes.Students need to do homework on a daily basis.
Green folder need to be back to school every day.
Starting next week Sept 1st we are going to start a reading log. Every day students need to read for 30 min and log the book title in the worksheet that they will get on Tuesday. The reading log is due the 1st day of each month,please help students with it. This is an amazing time to spend with your kids and learn at the same time.
