Students the practice Science Fair Project will be moved to next Thursday, December 20. December 21 will be the Holiday Celebration. Remember bring your $2.00 by Friday, December 14.
Example of practice Science Fair Project
Problem Statement: Which liquid detergent, Tide, Cheer, Publix brand will produce the greater amount of soap suds?
Hypothesis: My hypothesis is that Publix brand will produce the greater amount of soap suds.
1.Locate a place where experiment will not be disturbed
2.Label plastic containers Tide, Cheer, Publix brand
3.Fill each container ½ way with water
4.Pour 1 cup full of liquid detergent in each plastic container
5.Stir liquid detergent with water for each container
Results: After 1 minute of mixing each container, the Publix brand produced the greater amount of soap suds.
Conclusion: After completing the experiment my hypothesis was correct. Publix brand was able to produce the greater amount of soap suds.
