PreK “Get Acquainted” Day!
You and your PreK child are invited!
When: Friday, August 17, 2007
Where: Sunset Park Elementary School
Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Come for 20-30 minutes anytime during this two-hour period.
Who: Parent(s) and the child who will be attending prek beginning Monday, August 20, 2007.
Why: To meet the teachers and explore the classroom so that Monday morning will be an easier transition for your child.
Your child will also be able to:
1. Meet the teachers and some new friends! ☺
2. Choose a symbol for the year.
3. Choose the color for the journal cover.
4. See a sample of the necessary supplies.
5. Take a photo to be used the first day of school!
We will be available to answer any questions you might have for us regarding curriculum or supplies. We find that children are much more confident and prepared to begin school the following Monday once they have an opportunity to enjoy a “preview”!
