Students are currently working on improving their keyboarding skills and should be practicing proper posture and keyboarding techniques at home.
By the sixth grade students should be working in pen and in cursive. A great site for handwriting tips is http://handwritingforkids.com/handwrite/cursive/alphabets/index.htm
The animations are quite good at showing how a letter is formed properly.
HINTS FOR STUDYING FOR A TEST
1. Be sure to stay current with your homework and do your best work.
2.Have someone quiz you on the questions at the end of each section and the end of the chapter.
3. Have someone quiz you on the questions in the packets.
**Do not think it is enough to reread the chapter. Many times the information is familiar, but you do not know it. Find a family member or a friend to ask the questions to you and answer them from memory. All test questions come from the book.
