Dear Parents and Students,
This year the Falcon Cove science department is requiring each student to make a computer based presentation instead of a board. For many of the 6th grade students, this may be their first computer presentation. Due to the difference in computer programs from one house hold to another, I am recommending a program that everyone can access through the internet. The name of the program is called Google Docs. One of the great features about this program is that the students can access it anytime, anywhere, and from any computer with internet access. The program is set up similar to the word processing programs the students are already familiar with. Here are the directions for setting up an account, sharing the account, and a few features the students may need to know while putting their presentation together.
Creating a GMAIL Account

3. Fill out all information boxes
4. Once complete, you should see a congratulations screen
5. Click show me my account (rt. side of screen)

Share the Presentation with Ms. Scheinman
** I want the students to share the ability to see their presentations with me. By doing so, I can not only grade their presentation, but help them if necessary.

2. Select "Invite People"
3. Type in the "Invite" box rachel.scheinman@gmail.com
