  WE have started a mystery unit in reading and the class is loving it!!  I am looking forward to doing some really exciting technology projects when FCAT is done!

We are still working on the poetry unit.  We wrote acorstic poems and published them.  We are learning different types of poetry.

We are currently working on chapter 24,probablilty.

The digital microscope has arrived!  What fun! WE are starting a unit on plants which will prove to be exciting.

       HELPFUL THINGS TO KNOW!

SNACKS: Students may bring a healthy snack to eat in the morning between lunch and PE. The Federal guidelines have changed reagrding what you can bring to school for snacks. Please make sure your child is not bringing a picnic lunch for a snack.  The children only have 10 minutes to eat.  LABEL EVERYTHING: Please make sure you write your name on anything you bring to school with a permanent marker.

MONEY: Anytime you send money to school please make sure your money is an envelope ,marked with your child's name,the teacher's name(GLASGOW) and what the money is for.

HOMEWORK: There will be homework every night. Please make sure you purchase a planner in order for your child to write their homework assignments in daily.
