Monday: Begin demonstration of Adobe photoshop after assembling books
Tuesday: Students will create an image using Adobe photoshop that uses their own brushes they have created.
Computer Imagery One November 26-30:
Monday: Begin visual journal pages with watercolor
Tuesday: Continue watercolor pages for visual journals
Wednesday: Complete the watercolor with pen embellishment pages for the journal pages
Thursday: Begin journal covers using aluminum foil. Students will cover these and then embellish surface with texture designs.
Friday: Begin staining the covers with acrylic paint, shoe polish, and gloss medium.
Computer Imagery One November 12-16:
Monday: Demonstration of principle of "Emphasis"/Focal Point. Show PowerPoint presentation of samples of types of emphasis.
Begin following assignments:
Animal: Create an image in Corel Photo paint that has an animal as the main emphasis
Face: Create an image that has emphasis on a face
Free hand sketch: Create an image that has emphasis on an area that uses no digital images or image sprayers. All other tools in PhotoPaint can be used.
Free choice: Create a free choice image that has a definate area of emphasis
Tuesday: Continue emphasis assignments
Wednesday:Continue emphasis assignments
Thursday: Continue emphasis assignments
Friday: Continue, complete, and print as thumbnails emphasis assignments
Computer Imagery One November 5-9:
Monday:
Demonstration of scanning.
Using the counterchange design, scan it in and create the following images with it:
1.Counterchange design that has added color from digital images
2.Counterchange design that has added images that are grayscale
3.Counterchange design that has color added with NO digital images, brushes only
4.Free choice image with counterchange design as a base. On Friday, one will be printed on the actual counterchange image, and the others on low luster photo paper
