Class Rules:

Question Everything

Read Everything

Be prepared and on time

Be nice

Expect the same . . .

Oh, and no food, drinks, gum or candy.

Things you will need:

1.   Two paper folders with tabs to hold paper (pockets are not necessary)

2.     Loose-leaf paper

3.     Dark blue or black ink – no gels or pretty colored inks.

4.     #2 pencils

5.     Highlighter

6.     A small binder ˝ inch is fine

7.     Binder for notes and returned papers

8.     A box of tissues (please)

 You need a novel to read on Friday’s and whenever you are finished with your other work. This book is your responsibility to get before class.

Where the Red Fern Grows

Catalogs or reference books

Comic books

Reading Log Directions

v      Every Friday you will read for 30 minutes and then write about what you read.

v      This is a weekly assignment regardless of whether we have school on Friday or if you are absent.

v     Reading Logs will be collected at the end of the period on Friday.
