Intensive Reading is a course designed to make you a better reader by building and improving your reading skills. You will learn many reading, FCAT, and test-taking strategies. If taken seriously, this course WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER READER, but YOU MUST READ!
SUPPLIES
· Binder or folder
· Notebook paper
· Pen/pencil
· Tissues or germ-x
RULES
1. Respect yourself: come to work, NOT play; always try your best
2. Respect others: no foul language, no touching, no disruptions
3. Respect property: do not write, carve, break, or throw objects
TARDIES
If you are late, go DIRECTLY to tardy hall for the period. My door is locked and I will not let you in! Tardy hall is NOT an excuse to miss a test and you will have to take the make-up version.
MAKE-UP WORK:
When you return from an absence, check my assignments online page or check the assignment binder to see what you missed on that day. All make-up work needs to be turned in before grades are due for the 1st nine-week report card and then again for the 2nd nine-weeks.
