Seniors and Parents--Extra order forms that were passed out to all seniors in the meeting with Herff Jones on Tuesday, November 11, are available in the main office and in Mr. Hurst's room (G-2). Ordering for Herff Jones will take place during all four lunches on November 20 and 21. All orders up to $80.00 require payment in full on those dates. Orders more than $80.00 to 160.00 require a minimum deposit of $80.00. Orders in excess of $160.00 require a 50% deposit of the total value of the order. For example a $200.00 order would require a $100.00 deposit. For additional information, please contact the school, or you may call Herff Jones directly at 727-545-3288.

Homecoming Court 2008 presented to the student body periods 1,2,3 and 4 Friday, November 7, 2008.
Senior meeting with Herff Jones and Disney for Grad Nite and Caps and Gowns, Tuesday, November 11, at 8:15, in the auditorium. Deposits on graduation packages will be taken by Herff Jones Thursday and Friday, November 20 and 21, in the lunchroom during all four lunches.

DUES
There are no senior dues, however you must pay all obligations incurred since grade 9 before being allowed to participate in senior activities, including Homecoming, Calendar Couples, Miss MHS Pageant, prom, etc... See Ms. Rutherford in the main office to pay $$$ and be removed from the obligation list.
PROJECT GRADUATION
This is a chemical-free graduation party scheduled for 11P to 5A following your grduation. Each year it is sponsored by senior parents and volunteers are needed for the Class of 2008. A parent meeting to discuss this will be held Tuesday, September 18, at 6:30, in Mr. Hurst's room, G-2.
COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE
Apply as soon as possible. DO NOT wait for test scores to come back before submitting your application; simply mark the registration form for your scores to be sent to the colleges where you plan to apply. Remember, individual colleges may recalculate your grade point average to include academic courses only, as well, they only accept a certain number of in-state and out-of-state students per term.
Also know, you have the option to begin the summer following your senior year. This will give you an opportunity to get acquainted with new surroundings, etc... at a slower pace and extra financial may be available during this time.

Use your computer to track down college funding! The following sites will point you to scholarships lists, tips, and resources for free. Most of them require you to fill out a personal profile listing your individual characteristics and accomplishments to combine with the database of scholarships to find those that you may be eligible for, according to the information you gave in the profile. Remember, all scholarship are not academically based, therefore you ARE NOT disqualified if you do not have a high gpa or test scores.
