Course description: This course aims to provide continuing practice in developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills while reviewing and expanding upon the structures and vocabulary learned at the first year level. Real-life applications are emphasized throughout the course. Students are expected to review lessons and practice the language a minimum of 30 minutes/day outside of class.

Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in French I is strongly recommended. 

Grading Policy:  The Lee County grading scale will be used. 

                           Class grades will be calculated based on Listening/speaking/reading/writing practice:                  60%

Assessment of listening/speaking/reading/writing skills  40%

Review - adjective agreement,  regular –er, -ir, and –re verbs, irregular verbs :  être, avoir, aller, faire, vouloir, pouvoir, prendre, sortir, partir, dormir, servir, contractions, partitive articles, passé composé, reflexive verbs
