This week we are reading all about space exploration. Please practice our new spelling words and word wall words. Remember the last three spelling words are “challenge words.”
Word Wall Words: everywhere, live, work, woman, machines, move, world
Spelling Words: tune, page, nose, space, size, fine, mice, late, cube, blaze, home, vote, erase, spice, confuse
Mon. Write words 3 times each
Tues. Choose 10 words. write a sentence with each
Wed. Write words in ABC
Thurs. Take a practice test. Write words missed 5 times each.
Sentences to practice.
I want to race in places all around the world.
Huge machines move big blocks of stone.
Vocabulary words. Your child should be able to use these words correctly in a sentence.

I am sending home a Scholastic Book order for those of you who would like to purchase books for your child. Please send this back with your money by Friday. Make checks payable to Scholastic.
Please remember to check your child's folder each night. It shows them you are interested in the work they are doing. Also check their behavior calendar. Good behavior is essential for a good learning environment.
Remember! Snack purchases have gone up to 60c-$1.20 for 2 things each day. Please send money for the week.
