Parents,
April is full of many exciting activities. Please encourage your child to continue to work hard this week. As usual, thank-you for everything you do for our class. Remember, to read each night!!!!!!!!! It is extremely important to return the report cards as soon as possible.
I also want to remind everyone of some up-coming events.
*Class Pictures, Monday, April 7th.
*Zoo Trip on Thursday, April 10th.
*Progress Reports will go home on April 18th,
*Spring Break will be April 21st –April 25th.
This Weeks Work
Unit: Plants
Reading: “Finding Answers”, “Plants Drink Water”, “Find the Seed”, “Why Do You Ask?”
Sight Words: don’t, most, won’t, write
Letter Recognition: long o, ow, oa singular words and plural words.
Spelling Words: coat, toad, soap, goat, oat, mow, show, snow, own, slow (Test on Friday) Please make sure your child is studying their words each night.
Homework: Write Spelling words 3 times each and write 3 sentences using 3 of your spelling words.
Remember to send in 25 for relay for life.
