We would like to welcome our student teacher, Beverly Ridgeway, to our class! We will be lucky enough to have her for seven weeks. She is a student from Athens University. She will graduate in May. We feel sure she'll be an excellent teacher. Good luck Mrs. Ridgeway on finding a job this fall.
Our states program will be on May 12th for our parents at 6:00 p.m. in the big gym. We will also do a production for the Elementary School on May 13th at 8:00 a.m. in the gym. Each second grader needs to wear a white shirt and denim pants or shorts for each performance. Please make sure they are here on time and they have learned their parts.
Our field trip will be on April 25th. We will be going to the Haleyville Theater to watch a movie and Natural Bridge. The cost will be $7.00. Please send your permission form back with money as soon as possible.

* May 8-16: Book Fair at the library.
