***Our A R reading goal is 75 points***
**Our Year-end DIBELS reading goal is 90 wpm**
Several students have reached or surpassed both of these goals and many others are getting very close. Please encourage your child to read their AR books and take the test. Remember the number of points you get depends on how many questions you answer correctly.
I urge you to continue to work with your child. Sit down each day with your child and go over the work he/she did in school that day. A lot of testing will be coming up in the early spring and they need to keep what they are learning fresh.
Reading is one of the most important things we do. I can't express how important it is that they practice reading and retelling what they have read.
We have been working on telling time and clocks. Please work with your child on this.
Please continue to send the Box Tops for Education.
