Read the Words has now changed to a reading fluency passage on Friday. The students read a cold passage for 1 minute. I take how many words per minute they read. This is calculated into a grade based on their reading benchmark which is 20 until Dec. 1...It then changes to 40 words per minute for the end of the school year benchmark.
Please go over spelling and the weekly story with your child nightly. We will print these words and go over in class as well.
