7th Grade: The students have earned their cooking license and are now cooking in the lab. When we have finished the cooking section we will begin the Housing unit. The students will learn about their environment and how important it is to take care of it. The students will also design a room. AR cutoff is December 9th, so read, read, read. The second semester the students will be taking Agriscience.
9th Grade: The students are in the foods and nutrition unit. They will make a cook-book, learn about safety & sanitation, cooking techniques, and go into the lab to cook.
11th/12th Grade Food and Nutrition: The students are learning about nutrients, food guide pyramid, dietary guidelines and how all of these affect our diet. They also cook each week. Please pay fees as soon as possible.
FCCLA held its annual Beef Cook-off and the winners are as follows:

Kaitlin Snoddy will be going to the county contest on December 8, at Meek High School.
