Wow!!! This school year is flying by. The children are doing great! Most of them are reading at different levels and I am proud of each and everyone of them.
I hope that everyone has a great Spring Break!!!!!!
In the upcoming week after AEA don't forget that we will be registering students for the 2008-09 school year. On the days scheduled for Double Springs your student will not be counted absent, due to the fact that the kindergarten teachers will be assessing the new upcoming students. We will be registering on the 22nd and the 23rd.
We will continue to be working on CVC words, blends and other phonemic activities. We will continue reading in our groups. Most of the kids are reading so please continue to read with your child at home. READING, READING, READING is very important. The more they read the better they will get. Practice makes perfect!!!
Upcoming Events:
* Every Monday is our library day
* Kindergarten registration will begin April 21st.
* Friday, May 16th will be our Field Day, if it rains it will be rescheduled for Monday, May 19th.
