I hope everyone had a safe, happy, and restful Christmas holiday.
We are now ready and eager to start the New Year. Please note what's up for winter!
** Continue to read with your child at home. This helps your child with letter sounds, sight word recognition, left-to right progression and so forth. We will be starting in our read-aloud books soon.
** Encourage your child to work as neatly as he/she can and not rush through his/her work.
**We will be celebrating the 100th day of kindergarten this month.
**Coming soon... we will begin studying personal health and safety. As part of this unit of study, your child will need to learn their phone number, address, and birthday. Please help practice these at home with your child. If you do not have a phone at home, please let your child learn a relative or neighbor's phone for emergencies.
Your help is vital for your child to succeed and be the best he/she can be! Working together, we can make a difference in the quality of your child's education
Looking forward to a great second semester of kindergarten.
Thank you for all your help,
Lenae Wilson
