RULES FOR FORMING PLURAL NOUNS
1. Add -s to form the plural of most nouns.
   brothers, clouds, mountains, flames, stones
2. Add -es to form the plural of nouns ending in s, x, z, ch, or sh
   lenses, taxes, waltzes, patches, dishes
3. Add -es to words ending in a consonant plus o. Add  -s to words ending in a vowel plus o.
   tomato=tomatoes    stereo=stereos
4. When a noun ends in a consonant plus y, change the y to i and add -es. When a noun ends in vowel plus y, just add -s.
   puppy=puppies   holiday=holidays
5. There are some exceptions to the rules above for forming plurals.
   men, women, children, geese, mice, data
Rules for forming possessive nouns
1. Add 's to the end of all singular nouns.

2. Add ' to the end of plural nouns already ending in s.

3. Add 's to the end of plural nouns not ending in s.
