**REMINDER!!! We begin testing tomorrow, April 1st. We will be testing first thing in the morning. Please make sure your child arrives to school on time. Once testing begins they cannot enter the room and will have to make up that section.
Also, please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep each night before the test and eats a really good breakfast each morning. We will not be able to have a snack or drink until after testing is over. We don't want them getting hungry in the middle of the test--their minds will be focused on that hunger.
The Testing Schedule is.....
April 1st--ARMT Reading
April 2nd--ARMT Math
April 3rd--SAT Reading
April 7th--SAT Math
April 8th--SAT Language
April 9th--OLSAT
**The students will not have any homework on Test nights.
Don't forget that "Donuts for Dads" is scheduled for this Friday morning from 7:05-8:00.
Our student teacher Miss Metzger is now teaching Reading and Alabama History full-time. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.
Reading: We will get back to Charlotte's Web this week. We will continue our warm-ups this week.
Alabama History: We will continue our study of Chapter 6. The students are making vocabulary flash cards to help them study for the test. All work will be done in class this week.
Math: We will spend some time this week with some test preparation. We will continue to work on fractions also. We are working on simplifying fractions. This requires them to know their multiplication facts well. Please continue to practice these at home.
Spelling: THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SPELLING THIS WEEK OR NEXT DUE TO TESTING!!!! :)
