Dear Parents,

I cannot believe that this is the last week of school!

We will be practicing for the K-5 graduation and K-4 Awards Night this week. It will be Thursday the 21st. at 6:00. The children need to be in the gym by 5:30. Girls should be dressed in a Sunday dress and shoes and the boys should wear dark pants with a white button down collared shirt and dress shoes.

Bible:
Verse: We have finished all of our Bible verses, so we will work on learning the Books of the New Testament.
Story: Review Bible stories

Phonics:
Review: Review Vowels,Consonants and Blends
1. A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a period.
2. Sight word are words that we just know them when we see them. "the"  We don't sound them out.
3. "K" goes with i and e and "C" goes with the other three.
4. When a word ends with two consonants we just sound it out once or only sound out the first consonant. "will" "duck"
5. If a word has only one vowel in it, it usually says the short sound and you mark it with a smile.
6. If a word has two vowels the first one says it's name and the second one is silent.

Handwriting: Continue practicing formation of vowels and consonants.
Practice writing name correctly.

Numbers:
Count: 1-100
Recognition: 1-20

Practice writing the numbers we have learned.

Activity Time:
Monday: P.E.
Tuesday:Awards Night Practice
Wednesday: P.E.
Thursday: Awards Night Practice
Friday: NO SCHOOL
